Susan A. Devlin

Susan A. Devlin, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 2, 1957, to the late Paul and Florence Leone of the Olney section of Philadelphia, Susan and her husband, John, had recently moved to Pocono Lake. Susan was a doting wife and mother, always ensuring the home was well-kept and her family well-fed. Not only did she raise her own 4 children, but she was also an amazing caretaker for many of others' children over the years. Family was her focal point. In her free time, however, she was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, always rooting on her Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, and especially the Sixers. With an astute mind, she loved taking on challenging crossword puzzles and playing cards, especially solitaire. Spending time at the lake brought her great comfort, especially with a little country music playing in the background. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, John, four beautiful children – Shawn (Francesca), Kimberly Heinrich (Andy), Thomas (Amanda), and Patrick, and was the beloved grandmother to Emilie, Kylie, Andreas, Connor, Luca, Kinsley, Haylie, and Olivia. Relatives and friends are invited to Susan's Life Celebration on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 10:30-11:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's memory to the Susan G.
