Juan David Osorio Burgos Perez

WORCESTER-Juan David Osorio Burgos Perez died Friday, September 10, 2021 at UMass Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. David was born October 7, 1944 in Puerto Rico, son of Evangelista Osorio Perez and Marta Burgos. He was predeceased by his five siblings, Heriberto, Ruben, Eliezer, Luz D. Perez and Maria L. Mendoza. Many years ago, he owned and operated David's Garage. David was a "hands on" kind of guy who loved to keep busy by working on cars, caring for his pets and gardening; which was evident by his beautiful plants. Papi will be dearly missed by his longtime companion, Doris Mercedes Rodriguez, three daughters, Johana Martinez of Worcester Griselda Martinez of Worcester and Yvette Martinez of Worcester, a step-son, Leandro Castillo of Cranston, RI and a son, Reynaldo Perez in Arizona, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren He also leaves many nephews and nieces, including Lucy Leaman of California and Lucy DeLeon of New Jersey, who were more like his siblings than nieces, and his nephew Evan, for being his greatest support. David's Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 23rd at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street with calling hours from 10:30am until Noon immediately followed by a Funeral Service at Noon. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
