I'm at a loss for words. I feel fortunate to have known Elio and experienced some great moments together when our boys played on the same sports teams. I can still hear him yelling "Atta boy, Ross", which was one of his ways to tease Rita (my wife) about her incessant cheering of our son. There were other quips that still make me smile. What a great sense of humor. Rest easy friend.

As a brother-in-law to Elio for 46 years I will surely miss him also as a friend. We had fun at the great parties he and Iole put together for the family, as well as playing pinochle, golf and bocci. He always had a quick jab with a joke, and never stopped bantering me about being Slovenian. Iole, we will miss this great man. We love you and your beautiful family.
