BERARDINELLI, Carmela (Appugliese) Age 92, of Watertown. March 25, 2025. Devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Daughter of the late Nicola and Maria Appugliese. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Ernesto Berardinelli. Adoring mother to Ernesto A. Jr. (James Meacham) of Watertown, Marie Elizabeth (Jean-Marie) of Wells, Maine, and John G. of Watertown. Loving nana to Gabriella Marie Berardinelli-Allain. Sister of Mary Appugliese of Georgia, Nicholas Anthony (Paula) of California and the late Antonietta Lupo (Joseph). Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews. A lifelong resident of Watertown, Carmela was born in Isernia, Italy. Carmela was a master cook, where cooking was an art and passion and where enough food was never enough. A woman of wisdom and counsel to all, a woman of humility and prayer. Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., WATERTOWN, Monday, March 31, at 9 AM, followed by Funeral in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown, at 10 AM.
