Peter J. Markowski

Peter J. Markowski, 81, longtime resident of Cicero, at rest October 22 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 29, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Josephine Markowski. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Kouba); loving father of Anthony (Norma), David (Natalie), Lisa (Erik) York and Laura (Albert) Barnes; devoted grandfather of Maria (Steven) Ellis, Evan Markowski, Ethan York, Gabrielle and Payton Barnes and Lanie York; dearest brother of Rita Kelter, and preceded in death by brothers Jerry, Carl and Joseph and sister Alice Gorgoni, and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Peter loved God and was extremely devoted to his family. He had a great sense of humor and was always smiling.
