Nanette Toporowski Obituary

Published by Decker-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Nov. 6, 2021.
Nanette Marie Toporowski of Hatboro, PA., passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021. She was 48 years old. Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of Ronald and Katherine (nee McGlinchey) Toporowski. Nanette is survived by her lifelong partner Matthew Lynch, their children Veronica and Gavin Lynch, her brother Ronald Toporowski (Maris), and her maternal grandmother Anita McGlinchey. She also leaves behind two nieces Madeline Toporowski and Rylee, three nephews Dale, Tyler, and Ryan Toporowski (godson), goddaughter Mackenzie Letcavage, many aunts and uncles, her in-laws James and Jane Schrader Lynch, and brother-in-law Jay Lynch (Denise). She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Marion and Anna Toporowski, and maternal grandfather John McGlinchey. Nanette was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter. Veronica and Gavin were her whole world. She attended Nativity of Our Lord School, Archbishop Wood High School for Girls, and went to Keystone College. While in Keystone College she played soccer. Her favorite place in the world was the beach, but you could also find her on the slopes skiing. Nanette had strong faith in God. Everyone who knew her knew she was the strongest, bravest, most independent, and stubborn person. She always had to do things her way. "Big Red" will be missed by everyone. A note from her Children: "My mom always told me that when I die I need to die doing something I love or by being at peace. She passed away peacefully. When I walked into her room 1W07 and I saw her lying there, she had a great big smile on her face. I've never seen it when everyone is crying and one person is smiling. This told me right away that she was able to make peace with herself which behind all those tears put a smile on my face. My mother will always be the first person I ask about anything and nothing is going to change that. She is one of a kind and a very special person to all of us. I will always love you Mom and I miss you so much. See you soon, I love you." -Gavin "My mother taught me how to live by living out her own dreams. She taught me how to trust by always being there. And my mom continues to teach us how to love by simply being who she is. I truly believe she touched the heart of everyone she ever crossed paths with. We will all carry her presence with us and she will never be forgotten. Mom, I strive to grow into the unique teacher you are and continue to be, as you guide me throughout the rest of life. What we have as a family is special and no one will ever change that. I miss you, too. I love you Momma. See you at the beach!" -Veronica Relatives and friends are invited to Nanette's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 11th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the Decker Givnish Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974; then on Friday, November 12th from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. Masks are required by the family while indoors at both the funeral home and church due to the covid-19 pandemic. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nanette's memory to Living Beyond Breast Cancer (https://www.lbbc.org) to provide support and education to breast cancer survivors.

Our hearts go out first to Nanette's mom and dad, Kitty and Ron, and to her big brother Ronnie who welcomed baby Nanette into the world and experienced her first smile, steps, and words. In that loving and supportive family, Nanette grew and flourished. She brightened the world with her ever-present smile, fun personality, and fiery red hair.
When Nanette became an adult, she proved to be a loving partner and mother. Just as little Nanette brought joy to her parents' lives beginning with her birth 48 years ago, Nanette's children brought immeasurable joy to Nanette's life. Her daughter Veronica and son Gavin expressed eloquently the love, guidance and support she gave her children and the enduring love and respect they have for her.
At this time of her passing, our hearts go out to all of Nanette's family and friends. May God shower you with His Abiding Love, Compassion, and Healing.
