Ruth Brennan

Ruth (Connington) Brennan of Westwood, age 99, December 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George J. Brennan Jr. Loving mother of Catherine Judith and John Barry of Marshfield, George and Susan Brennan of Estero, FL; Denise and Richard Coyle of Medway, Janice and William Oliver of Braintree, Patricia and Roger Poulin of West Roxbury and Susan and Robert McIntyre of Westwood. Devoted sister of the late Irene Gallagher, Helen Fox, James Connington, and Paul Connington. Cherished grandmother of twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a volunteer for the U S Army Air Corps during WWII, she spent many years actively involved in many rolls at Bay State College. Ruth was a great performer and singer especially Irish music and enjoyed her many winters in Florida with George. Ruth's family would like to thank Sandy, Mavis and the Conlin Agency for their devoted and compassionate care of Ruth over the past years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church 845 High St. (Route 109) Westwood, on Friday, December 10, at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the church on Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:00am.
