"Tony the Barber" Tony passed away at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family in his last days. He was a barber in SF for 65 years, cutting hair with his Dad and three brothers in the early years. He was a proud US Navy veteran, accomplished musician, devoted member of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Past Master of Colombia-Brotherhood Masonic Lodge and lifetime member of the Mariposa Yacht Club. His quick wit, love of family and friends, and generosity will always be remembered. He is survived by his loving wife, Demetra (Dee) of 59 years, his children David (Joni), Claire (Charles), and Thomas (Ingrid). Cherished by his grandchildren Victoria, Stephanie, Rustam, Raisa, Lulu, and Zsa Zsa. Also survived by his siblings Angeliki Trujillo (Herb) and Basil (Faye). Predeceased by his parents, James and Kalliope, and siblings Euclid, Belizar, and Katherine. Visitation at 6 pm; Trisagion at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 29th, at Sneider Sullivan & O'Connell's, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo. Funeral will be held on Thursday, December 30th, at 11 am at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Belmont, followed by the Makaria luncheon in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, his family appreciates donations to the church (www.goholycross.org).
