Sima Z. Diamond

Sima Z. Diamond, 83, of Margate, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Madison) Zatlyn. Sima was the devoted wife of Nathan Diamond. Nat always liked to say they had been going steady for 62 years. They had a wonderful marriage. Sima was a graduate of Temple University, attaining a bachelor's degree in history. Sima taught school before she had children of her own. She was also the owner and operator of A Travel Experience for over twenty years. Sima was a devoted, loving spouse, mother, and grandmother. Sima was active in several local charities and was a member of Beth Israel Sisterhood. She was also a former director of the Jewish Community Center. Sima was interested in everything. She particularly enjoyed art, reading, traveling the world, and baking. Sima's deep love for her family will always be remembered by her husband: Nathan Diamond; son, Lee Diamond, daughters, Ellen Bohlke, Jennifer Reedie (Johnny), grandchildren: Jordan Reedie (Kerry Rubenstein), James Reedie, Jason Reedie, Lily Bohlke, Nicholas Bohlke, and Brother: Marc Zatlyn. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister: Paula Zatlyn. Services will be private.
