Arthur Epstein Obituary

Published by Crestwood Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Downtown on Apr. 23, 2022.
Arthur Epstein died of natural causes at the age of 99 on April 23, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, the son of Eastern European immigrants Molly Levy Epstein and Louis Epstein. Like many others of this background and generation, his drive to live a meaningful life began with the pursuit of education. After serving in World War II, he returned to New York to start a family and career. He flourished as an engineer, mentor, and executive, always delighting in new challenges. He sought neither fame nor fortune but was a man of great intellectual curiosity, generosity, and boundless energy. He was married for 65 years to his beautiful Juliett. He is survived by 4 children and 3 children-in-law, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Although he didn't die on the handball court, as always, he did it his way. Farewell Archie, you were a force to be reckoned with.
