Christopher A. Doyle

Waltham – Mr. Christopher A. Doyle, of Waltham, died Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in his home. He was 67. Chris was born in Boston on July 18, 1955 to the late Arnold W. and Frances T. (Russell) Doyle. He lived in Belmont and in Watertown before moving with his family to Weston in 1967. He graduated from Weston High School and had been a Waltham resident for more than forty-five years. He loved taking in the sights and sounds of the city taking daily walks around Waltham and always enjoyed a good cigar with his friends and family. Chris also maintained an impressive assortment of coins and precious metals he collected over the years. A devout Catholic, he was a faithful communicant of Saint Mary's Parish. In addition to his parents, Arnold and Fran, Chris is reunited with his sister, the late Mary Doyle. He leaves his beloved wife of fifteen years, Rhode (Alcime) Doyle; his brothers and sister, Peter Doyle (Allison) of North Hampton, New Hampshire, Jeannine Doyle of Needham, and Andrew Doyle (Julie) of Northborough; his sister-in-law, Lynne Jacoby of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and many nieces, nephews, and their families. Family and friends will honor and remember Chris' life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Friday, August 12th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
