Jack Pemberton Obituary
Jack L. "Hungry Jack" Pemberton, 82, of Modoc, died March 13, 2026.
Born March 23, 1943, in Jasper, Tennessee, to Clarence Milton and Geneva Lucille (Blaylock) Pemberton.
Jack and his wife, Teena, owned and operated the Blue Moon Restaurant in Losantville for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Christine "Teena" Pemberton; three children, Geneva, Thomas, and Joseph Pemberton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mooreland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.sprolesfamilycares.com.

Jack was truly one of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever meet. His warm heart, gentle spirit, and the way he made everyone feel welcome will always be remembered. We feel so grateful to have had him as part of our family.
Our hearts are with Teena and the entire family during this difficult time. Jack will be deeply missed and always lovingly remembered.
