The last time I saw Mr. Caputo was at Doctor Rudda's office. He was so proud and happy living on the State's dime as he called. I have many fond memories of him and your Mother down through the years. Please cherish your memories of them forever. It was a pleasure to have known them. Frank Koczwara

Mr. Caputo was my middle school principal at East Scranton Intermediate School back in the '80s. My friends and I were a little out of control, to say the least. Whenever we were called into his office, he always gave us the tough love we needed. Years later, I ran into him and when I told him I had recently got my degree in teaching, he smiled to himself. I could tell that he was proud that I was able to turn things around from being such a handful back in the day. I'm glad I was able to thank him in person for keeping tabs on me. Mr. Caputo, I'd like to thank you one last time, and may you rest in peace. You were a great role model. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

My sincere condolences to the Caputo family. Mr. Caputo was my 9th grade Science teacher at Scranton Central HS. He always maintained an in-class environment conducive to learning. I had many conversations with him at the YMCA after he retired from his educational career. He was a person of integrity, possessed a brilliant intellect, and was a truly compassionate man. Rest in peace, Mr. Caputo.

Dear Caputo Family:
I am so sorry to read of your father's passing. He was a true gentleman! Also, he was a guiding light for the thousands of children he encountered in 37 years in education. You should be very proud of your Dad! He taught me a valuable lesson about parenting. May he rest in peace in God's hands.
