The last time I saw Mr. Caputo was at Doctor Rudda's office. He was so proud and happy living on the State's dime as he called. Mr. Caputo was my middle school principal at East Scranton Intermediate School back in the '80s. My friends and I were a little out of control, to say the least. Whenever we were called into his office, he always gave us the tough love we needed. Years later, I ran into him and when I told him I had recently got my degree in teaching, he smiled to himself.
