Kamar de los Reyes’s legacy
De los Reyes came to prominence in “One Life to Live” in 1995, having previously appeared in a TV adaptation of “Valley of the Dolls” and in a small recurring role on “ER.” As Antonio Vega on “One Life to Live,” he was initially a convict, imprisoned for a murder he committed in self-defense, and he later became a police officer. He starred on the soap opera through 2009.
Later, de los Reyes had recurring roles on “Sleepy Hollow” as the demon Jobe, on “The Rookie” as Detective Sergeant Ryan Caradine, and on “All American” as Coach Montes. His many other TV appearances included “Touched by an Angel,” “Law & Order,” “Pretty Little Liars,” and “Castle.” He was also in such movies as “Nixon,” “Love & Suicide,” “The Cell,” and “Salt.”
De los Reyes had a prominent voice role in the “Call of Duty” video game series, playing Nicaraguan arms dealer Raul Menendez, the game’s primary antagonist. He was featured in the “Call of Duty” installments “Black Ops II,” “Black Ops 4,” and “Vanguard.”
