Mark Miller trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. He started his career as a popular stage actor where Desi Arnaz spotted him, and he was cast in the Desilu sitcom “Guestward Ho!” He appeared on many TV shows in the 1960s including “The Andy Griffith Show,” “I Dream of Jeanie,” and “The Twilight Zone.” He starred as Jim Nash on the family sitcom “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies,” which aired on NBC from 1965 until 1967. Miller was also a screenwriter who wrote and starred in “Savannah Smiles” and co-wrote the popular 1995 film “A Walk in the Clouds,” which starred Keanu Reeves. He was the father of actress Penelope Ann Miller.
