Musical career
Clark co-founded Hi-Five in 1989 in Waco, Texas. They rose to fame with several singles from their 1990 self-titled debut album, including the No. 1 hit “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game).” Other popular songs from Hi-Five included “I Can’t Wait Another Minute,” “She’s Playing Hard to Get,” and “Quality Time.” In 1993, Hi-Five was involved in a traffic accident; Clark was severely injured and remained paralyzed from the chest down. He used a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
