“From that moment she pursued drumming with a happy dedication,” according to the obituary published by the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Morris, who died of complications from breast cancer June 9 at age 41, recorded and toured with such rock bands as Crystalized Movements, Tizzy, The Wayne Rogers Unit and So Very Small.
Her obit contains details about her earning assorted degrees and working as a television producer and videographer.
Morris continued making music after beginning her studies at Western New England College School of Law in 2007. She received her cancer diagnosis on the same day that she was sworn in to the Connecticut and Massachusetts bar associations.
“Undaunted, she immersed herself in her new career, working as a capable and energetic lawyer as much as her treatments allowed,” the obit said.
