MARTIN HIGGS Obituary
MARTIN M.HIGGS, JR.
Martin M. Higgs, Jr., beloved husband of 54 years to Stella (Charuhas) Higgs, died October 21, 2013 at home in the loving care of his family as was his wish. Loving father of Gina (Bob) Zick and Veronica Higgs (David Jarvis); cherished grandfather of Robert, Jason and Michael Zick. Also survived by his brother-in-law Peter (Helen) Charuhas and many dear relatives and friends. Friends may call at the HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Theodore Greek Orthodox Church, 7101 Cipriano Rd., Lanham, MD 20706. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, 2219 Lincoln Rd., N.E. Washington, DC 20002. Memorial donations in his name may be made to St. Theodore Building Fund.

Stella, Regina & Veronica, I have such good memories of the times we all spent together as kids, Singing in the car and going to the drive-ins and beach, and just family get togethers. So sorry to hear of Sonny passing, he always kept us laughing. You will all be in my prayers.
