George and I were not really close most of our lives, but became close this past couple of years. I left for Vietnam just a month after George came home and we never talked of Vietnam until lately. This past two years have been the most cherished years I have ever had with my brother. May God keep you in his arms and from harms way forever. Your brother Bucky Ira B. McQuade

George was a decorated hero on the battlefield and so he was in everday life. He was always loving, available, and devoted to Terri, Jennifer, Jessica and his grandchildren. He watched over and loved his mother, and really anyone in his family and his friends, including this friend whom he helped in the middle of a snowstorm. George, you were quiet and doing all that you did for everyone was just a part of your day. We will always be grateful for what you did and most importantly~~for what you were. We will always love and miss you and we want to thank you for what you did and for being OUR HERO.
