He was born on June 7, 1927 in Trenton, New Jersey, son of the late Charles and Lillian (Bergman) Koske.
Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1945-46. He later worked as a supervisor in air freight.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #2 of Dover, Sampson Vets in New York, and the Harvest Years Senior Center.
Charles enjoyed antique cars and car models.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Elsa and daughter Sharon.
Charles is survived by his second wife, Miriam (Honey); daughter, Deborah and son-in-law, Phillip Sechrist; two step-daughters, Eileen Nuttal and Kathy Doan; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, New Jersey, where visitation will be one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Hospital or Sloan Kettering Cancer Society.
