Received a reminder to remember Denny today. As long as we are here he's not really gone. I can see him smiling a greeting still, and he's no farther away than he always has been, and will be, in my memory. Let's all
be glad we knew him.

I met Denny working on his equipment when I was at Mid-Valley Tractor, and continued our association and friendship when I moved to Butte College to teach Heavy Equipment Operation and Ag Mech. On our harvest field trips to see rice harvest Denny met my students many times and never failed to tell them how I fixed his new pump engine by removing a part from a new engine in our stock to get it going, on a Sunday. It was a pleasure to work with and to know Denny, and I already miss him. Although I knew this day would come, as it will for us all, it is still sadder than I could expect for me. So know that I do share your greater sadness, and wish that you have at least the peace that you deserve in this time, and for all the time until we go to meet him again.

I purchased a copy of the Richvale history--such a well-written document! Although I taught there for only two years, I have nothing but fond memories of this town. Mr. Lindberg and I spoke several times on the phone and I have great respect for his intelligence, drive, and commitment to his home and career. What a lovely man!!

A life well lived and a life lived well. Mr. Lindberg will live on in the memories of those that knew and loved him and and in the memories of others such as myself that know him only through this tribute. Thank you for sharing his story. My condolences for your loss.
