Paul F. Michels loving husband of Catherine "Kate" Michels ( nee Albonetti). Loving father of Ellen Zembrodt (John "Nut"), Paul J. Michels (Kathleen), Pete Michels (Minda), Vince Michels (Lydia), Joe Michels (Joelle), and John Michels (Emily).. 17 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Grace Zumdick, Clara Frasca, Agnes Michels, Mary "Babe Bray and brother Joe Michels. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was 84 years of age and passed away Saturday at Rosedale Green . Paul was an Army Korean War Veteran, Founder and Chairman of Michels Construction. He was a Hoxworth 85 gallon donor, and served on the Northern Kentucky/ Cincinnati International Airport Board, St Elizabeth Hospital Board and served in numerous capacities on various construction industry boards and charitable organizations. Paul had a Honorary Doctorate from Thomas More College. Visitation Thursday from 5-8 pm at St. Agnes Church. Mass of Christian Burial 5:00 pm Friday at St. Agnes Church. Burial St. Mary Cemetery . Paul,was such a wonderful man and great father.A sheer pleasure to be around ,gracious ,friendly and a very inspiring person to be around.It was a honor to spend time with him and the Michels Family.May God Bless all of you.

Mrs. Michels and the entire family- I am so sorry for you loss! Paul was an amazing man! He was one of the most joyful people to be around. He was so helpful to our family as my mother battled cancer! I will never forget the day he put the gold shovel in the dirt for me. I still laugh about it whenever I use a shovel. Paul was a very kind, generous soul. I feel fortunate that I was able to meet him during his many blood donations at Hoxworth Blood Center. He will be missed by many.

I was always in awe of Paul's dedication to being a blood and platelet donor at Hoxworth Blood Center. He was and still remains our highest level gallon donor. Being a 85 gallon donor means he donated 683 times! So many people benefited with many lives saved because of this beautiful and dedicated man. Go rest high on that mountain!
