Dear Alice,
I am very sorry for your loss. He was a great man, so upbeat, so fun to be around, so full of life and youth of spirit. The stories he told me last Thanksgiving weekend at dinner are priceless, and I will carry them with me for a long time to come. It was nice to share time with him, and I will miss him. I hope you will be well in this time of loss. We are all lucky to have had him in our lives, and you most of all.
Sincerely,
Edward
