Nancy KINCAID Obituary


News Death Notice

KINCAID, Nancy Catherine Was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio. She came to California as a young woman after graduating from Ohio State University. Once in California, she held various jobs including bartender, caregiver for juveniles, and assembly line worker. While working for the Automobile Club of Southern California in the underwriting department, she decided to go on to law school. She attended Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles. Once she graduated and passed the bar, she worked as a claim's attorney for Automobile Club of Southern California and later for Mercury Insurance. She retired at age 60 and enjoyed her retirement years taking classes, reading, attending concerts, plays, and dance performances and spending time with her good friends. Nancy is lovingly remembered by her dear friends she considered family; her Sister Phyllis Cole (Kincaid) of Villa Park, California; Sister Susan Tutt (Kincaid) of Dacula, Georgia; and Brother John Kincaid of Lake Forest, California; her Niece Heather Garcia (Kincaid, Mrs. Rafael) and her family; her Niece Kristin Barbato (Mrs. Matthew); Nephews David Cole, Taylor Kincaid and Hunter Kincaid. Nancy's wonderful sense of humor and strength when faced with adversity were loved and admired by those who knew her. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 9:00 AM at Woodside Cemetery Chapel with Reverend Norman Coleman officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Woodside Cemetery.
