STEAD, REBA M., 75, of Louisville, past away Saturday June 4, 2011 at Norton suburban Hospital.

She was the former Reba Stivers. She was a retired reading teacher for JCPS and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and the Scottish Society of Louisville.

She is survived her husband of 57 years, Arthur "Art" Stead; sons, Arthur L. Stead (Denise) and David D. Stead (Lisa); daughter, Lea Sweeny; brother, Martin Stivers; also survived by six grandchildren.

Funeral services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery.

Donations may go to the Crusade for Children.
