GLORIA JUNE
Age 81, of Penn Hills, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Dudley Brumfield; beloved mother of Brenda (Louis) Parks, Elizabeth Jean Brumfield, and the late Kevin Cobb; beloved sister of Frances Delores Cobb; also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brumfield will surely be missed by a host of friends and Baby Girl her faithful friend and pet who saved her in a house fire. She was a devout Jehovah's Witness and was also known for her creativity with her fashion and cake designs. Services will be held at the Historic Chapel of the Homewood Cemetery Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the Smithfield Cemetery. Arrangements by the JOHN D. O'CONNOR AND SON FUNERAL HOME, INC., Patrick Vereb, Supervisor, 5106 Second Avenue 15207, 412-521-8116.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the home-going of your mother. I know the pain of losing a mother; it hurts. It is okay to cry but remember that joy comes in the morning. Your morning may not be this morning or tomorrow morning or even the next day but one day you will be able to talk about your mother and not cry but laugh at the good times you shared and tell of some funny stories about her.
I remember your mom made my wedding cake, and what a beautiful and delicious cake it was. That was over 30 years ago. I will remember her well.
