Conrad Garcia Obituary
Conrad C. Garcia was born on January 23, 1929 in San Antonio, TX and went to be with the Lord on April 25,
2016 at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his sister Elvia G. Pacheco. Conrad is survived by his wife of 55 years, Olivia D. Garcia; daughters, Delia Garcia and Zelda Fernandez (William), sons, Steven Garcia (Peggy) and Ruben Hernandez (Aurora); brother,
Frank Garcia (Terry); 4 grandchildren, Ruben, Jr., Alma, Faith and Hope and 3 great-grandchildren, Zoe, Kelly and Sean.
Conrad served in the Army Air Corp and was a World War II Veteran. He was a life member of the VFW 8936 Post, and a member of the American Legion Association. He worked in Civil Service
at Kelly AFB for 38 years. Conrad was part of the Memorial Service Detachment at Ft. Sam for 16 years. He volunteered at the Witte Museum and Herztberg Circus Museum. He was an active member of OLPH in Selma.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, TX. Funeral Mass will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.

Conrad was a dedicated and long time member of the Witte volunteer team. He was always ready to help and loved working with the children. When i think of him it makes me smile.
