Benny Custer Obituary
Benny H. Custer, 77, passed away in Albuquerque, NM, March 12, 2016. He was born April 22, 1938 in Querino Canyon, AZ to Benjamin and Margaret Custer. He was born for Naaneest'ezhi Tachii'nii clan to the Dziltl'ahnii clan.
Benny is survived by his wife, Emily; sons: Gary (Marlene), Ira (Linda), Myron; daughter, Mechel (Chad); eleven grandchildren; two half-brothers Joseph and Richard and half-sister Rose; and a host of extended family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Margaret Custer; brother, Robert Custer; son, Bryan; uncle and aunt, Frank and Annie Apache; grandparents, Pat and Edith Murphy; half-sisters, Christine and Frances.
Services will be held at Lighthouse (International Ministries) Church in Gallup, NM on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00am. Officiated by Pastor Harry Begay. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
