Opal Kindrick

ADA — Services for Opal Dean Kindrick, 74, Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Kenneth Brady will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.Mrs. Kindrick died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born March 23, 1934, at Kansas City, Kan., to Albert and Julia Gann Whetstone.She moved to Oklahoma in 1944, where she lived in the Baptist Orphan Home at Byng. She attended Byng school and later attended the Pontotoc Technology Center where she became a licensed practical nurse.Mrs. Kindrick was a LPN and a caretaker for senior adults in the Ada area. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School classes. She was a member of the Ada First Baptist Church.She married Willie J. Kindrick Nov. 30, 1952.Survivors include her husband, Willie Kindrick, of the home; three sons, Mark L. Kindrick, Blue Springs, Mo., Albert K. Kindrick, Holdenville, and Roy E. Kindrick, Ada; a daughter, Julia M.
