I had Mr. Skibinski for US History when I was a student at Jeff HS. I loved his class! He made learning our history very interesting and fun! He was sort of quiet but when he spoke, you really listened to what he was teaching you!
Mr. Skibinski truly was one of my very favorite teachers.
Sending all of his family our sincere concolences on his loss.
May Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, grant you His Mercy, His Comfort, His Peace and His Love,
H. Sam (Herron, Jr. class of 66) and Tari (Mitchell) Herron (class of 65)

I have fond memories of Mr. Skibinski from my tenure at Jeff. He was one of the few teachers who not only engaged students in the classroom but also outside of it. I am very sorry for his passing and will be praying for the family.

I can remember working with Dick at Hubbard's years ago and he was such nice guy. I will never forget the time his wife called and they had ended their conversation unknowingly to me standing there, and he says "you better have that firewood cut and dinner ready when I get home" then hung up the phone with emphasis. I thought "wow!" in an almost disappointing way. He played it on for about another 10 seconds then gave that great smile he had and laughed. He sure had me fooled. He said "I'd never talk to her like that, you think i'm crazy?!" So sorry for you're loss. What a great guy!!
