Jason L. Bass, 43, of Amarillo, died Saturday, June 2, 2018. Memorial services will be at 10:00 am Thursday at Washington Ave. Christian Church, 3800 S. Washington St. with Pastor Kendall Miller and Pastor Matt Johnson of The Loft Church officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. Jason was born December 22. 1974 in Amarillo. He graduated from Randall High School and attended Amarillo College. He worked as Helical cell leader at Amarillo Gear, and was there for over 12 years. Jason married Cassidy Caison on February 22, 2012. He was a member of The Loft Church. Jason loved spending time outdoors and was an avid mountain biker, which took him to Mexico, Montana, Utah and especially Palo Duro Canyon. He also enjoyed camping and being outdoors. He enjoyed off-roading at the river in his Jeep and was member of Black Sheep Offroad. Jason loved spending time with his "girls" Cassidy and Ella and working on his jeep. Survivors include the love of his life, Cassidy Bass; one daughter, Ella Bass of the home; his mother, Karen Thompson of Amarillo; his father, Jackie Bass and wife Candy of Amarillo; two sisters, Dena Bass and Rebecca Bass Murry both of Amarillo; his mother-in-law, Sandy Storey and husband Doug of Canyon. A memorial fund benefiting Ella Bass has been opened under Cassidy Bass at Bank of America, Coulter Branch only location; 1700 Coulter Street, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
