Somehow I have only just been made aware that Kim is in Heaven. Although it breaks my heart to know she is no longer physically present on earth, I remember and find comfort in her faith in Jesus and those wonderful times we had at Williams studying the Bible, enjoying spend-the-night-parties with pizza, brownies, games, and star-gazing, going on youth retreats, singing, washing cars, and just enjoying doing life together. I can see her smile in my mind's eye just like it was yesterday, and I will very much look forward to seeing that smile again on the other side. I pray for comfort and peace for her family and friends who continue to miss her so much.

This is so very sad. I wish to express my sympathy and condolences to the family. Kim was a fellow WikiTreer and she will be missed by oir community.

If you knew me closely as a child, you knew Kim. She was my cousin, 6 months apart in age. We grew up together as our mothers were sisters. Easter in dresses and bonnets, Christmases with our grandmother, summers at each other’s houses. Our mothers had lake houses next to each other, summers were spent on the lake, or in her bunk bedroom dreaming dreams with the glow in the dark stars on the ceilings. We both shared a love for dance and did ballet, jazz classes growing up. We held dance shows to family asking who was better, our grandmother would never say although we tried, we both had the best performance she would reply. I even joined in on her classes in high school when my school was not in session, we shared lives. We enjoyed the same books – Sweet Valley High and Babysitters Club and all those popular 80s books. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and was so happy to stand beside me on my special day. The last few years we bonded over genealogy and spent a lot of time talking about research on it. She was becoming an expert on navigating and researching and was a huge part of Wikitree. She loved animals, loved her dogs and cats. She had so much love to give.
After college, she became a social worker, she worked with families and children in those hard situations. She had so much love to give to those in need. Unfortunately she was never able to have her own children due to health issues, and she loved my girls so fiercely. Called them on their birthdays and tried to come to as many as she was able to. She took thousands of pictures, even has a whole album on her own FB page labeled the Jordans. I will miss her fierce loyalty and all the memories shared. I’m thankful she’s healthy and whole now but will miss her so very much.
