Patrick Romano Obituary
Toms River - Patrick D Romano Jr., 23 a lifelong resident of Toms River NJ, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021.
Patrick was a student at Niagara University in his junior year, majoring in Sports Management and Media Communications and a graduate of Toms River High School East in 2016. His passion for the sport of Ice Hockey led him to play on the ACHA Division 1 hockey team his three years at Niagara University and on the HS East Varsity team for four years. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile and the most genuine love for his family, friends, coaches and teammates.
He is survived by his parents Patrick and Charlene Romano of Toms River, loving Grandfather, Joseph Bill, uncles, aunts, cousins and countless friends in who's heart he will live forever. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Rita Bill and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Claire Romano.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. A funeral mass will be on Wednesday, April 7th at 11:00 am at St. Justin's Church 975 Fischer Blvd, Toms River. Private cremation to follow. www.silvertonmemorial.com

You were amazing friend to Joey more like brothers same to Tommy you were like his 2nd big Brother to him I remember when you call and ask me if you could take Tommy to aquarium for the day. Our son , Noah, played at Niagara with Patrick. What a devastating loss for all. Though I can't begin to imagine the pain of losing a child, I am praying that the amazing sentiments that have been expressed about Patrick help to provide peace and strength to his family. What a blessing he was to his family and friends. He will be remembered always.
