Ronald J. "Ron" Ricks

Branchburg - 60, died November 5, 2018.

Ronald was born and raised in Elizabeth and formerly of Sayreville before moving to Branchburg in 1990. He was a graduate of Linden High School Class of 1976. He owned and operated Absolute Landscaping in Branchburg for over 30 years. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed going to Monmouth Park Racetrack to watch horse racing. He also loved the outdoors, especially maintaining his yard. Ron was an avid NY Giants football and NY Yankees baseball fan. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Loretta, three sons Brian and wife Jo-Ann, Kevin, and Steven, and one granddaughter Adeline Mae.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be 1-5pm Sunday at the funeral home.
