NORBERTO NIEVES
AGE: 36 LONG BRANCH
Norberto Nieves, 36, of Long Branch, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009. Born in Long Branch, Norberto was a lifelong resident. He was employed at Monmouth Park Race Track, Oceanport.
Norberto is survived by his son, Andrew Garcia of Eatontown; his mother, Josefa Aponte of West Long Branch; his father, Baltazar Nieves; a brother, Noel Aponte of Hollywood, Fla.; his nieces, Nancy Rivera and Bianca Aponte, both of Long Branch; his nephews, Manny Rivera of Eatontown, and Joed Cruz of Long Branch; and a host of aunts and uncles, especially his loving aunt, Ida Moure of Long Branch.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3 at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch. A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 4 at the funeral home, time to be announced. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch.

What a horrible loss, Berty Bert was one of the funniest people that I know..He always knew how to put a smile on your face! May Norberto rest in peace, he will be greatly missed. From my family to his our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
