Daethyn Nelson Obituary
AGE: 41 • Perth Amboy
Daethyn J. Nelson, 41, of Perth Amboy passed on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 while on vacation in Melborne, FL.
He is predeceased by his father, George Carty Sr.; sister, Margeritte Marie Nelson. He survived by his fiancé of 21 years, Jennifer Mazurkevich; mother, Sharon L. Nelson; sisters, Kim Carty, Yolanda Marquez; brothers, Lance D. Nelson, George Carty (Jun) Jr.; Aunt, Dorothy E. Daniels; Godson, Julian D. Zduniak; 9 nieces and nephews; cousin/brother Justin C. Zduniak Sr.; and a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Sewaren, 130 Sewaren Ave., Sewaren, NJ on Tues. Sept. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., followed by a going home service on Wed. Sept. 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. Please log on to www.plintoncurry.com to sign guest book.

To Jenn and the Nelson/Carty Families, I'm truly sorry and devistated by your loss of a great soul. Daethyn was an awesome gentleman, dear friend and fellow Class of 91' alumni. And tho I moved away from Amboy after HS, it was always good to see him when we ran into each other. His presence and great heart will truly be missed by everyone he came in contact with.

We have lost one of the most respectable security guards and perfect boy high school he would always watches in the front keeping his eyes on the students teachers minutes traders and always with the dresses would happily smile and tell us directions where to go and where to be it's hard it's hard to believe that we lost him so soon and I will round a guy with a great attitude.
