AGE: 94 • Formerly of Silver Ridge Park North

Stephanie Malek, age, 94 formerly of Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away peacefully, May 10th, 2013 at Brandywine Assisted Living, Toms River. Stephanie was born in West Deer, PA to John and Anna Malek on November 3, 1918. She lived in Forest Hills section of Queens, NY for many years and worked in Brooklyn, NY as a Seamstress and Dress Maker. She was a member of the Garment Workers Union, I.L.G.W.U. Stephanie moved to Silver Ridge Park North nearly 30 years ago, where she belonged to the SRPN Singles Club. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Joseph, her sisters, Mary, Nellie and Josephine, and her niece, Maryann. She is survived by her nephews, William Gottschalk and Robert Malek, her nieces, Susan Gallo and Maryann Jones and her grand nieces and nephews, Michael, Jennifer, David, Matthew, Christopher and Melissa.

The family respectfully invites relatives and friends to attend the viewing, Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered, 10:30am Tuesday at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY.
