Terrence Naldi Obituary

Terrence (Terry) David Naldi

Middlesex - It is with sadness that the family of Terrence (Terry) David Naldi, announces his passing from the coronavirus on April 22, 2020, at 74 years old.

The younger son of Edward and Dea Naldi (predeceased), Terry was born and raised in Bound Brook, NJ, graduating Bound Brook High School in 1963, and CW Post College (Long Island University) with a B.S. degree in Psychology.

He lived in Middlesex, NJ for the past 42 years. Terry had a distinct love of nature and all its beauty, beginning with his passion as a child for butterflies.

He had a keen eye for all things in nature; flowers, fish, trees, plants and birds. He loved animals, especially dogs, and was rarely without one in his home.

Terry had various careers in finance, import-export, and real estate, but was able to use the inspiration he found in the beauty of nature in his ultimate career of interior design, in which he owned his own company for several decades.

Terry had a big personality, was articulate, and had a strong opinion about everything. He was an avid tennis player and fan, a creative cook (who left many pots and pans for others to clean), and he enjoyed crabbing with family and friends at the Jersey Shore.

He was a great dancer and a lover of music, especially Motown, Patti LaBelle, and most of all, Diana Ross. He had a flair for and was a collector of art, cars, furniture, fashion, jewelry, and antiques and enjoyed sharing those treasures with so many he loved.

He will be missed by his brother, Ronald and sister-in-law, Carlene; his uncle Bruno and Aunt Sally Doganieri; his nieces, Ronene (John), Becca (Joe), Melissa (Brett);

his great nieces and nephews; and his loving cousins and friends. Terry will be laid to rest next to his mother and father at the Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.

A memorial service will be announced in the future. Arrangements were handled by Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook.

I spent my life intertwined with his. We shared interests in parakeets, tropical fish, ice skating on the lake in his backyard, and cooking, to name a few. The most memorable thing about those fond memories is recollection of his sense of humor. I still laugh out loud when I think of the antics and fun times we had. He was kind and generous and a deep thinker who loved to laugh and make others laugh.

Your brother must have been quite a guy, Ron! I am so sorry you have lost your brother & friend, but all the stories you will be able to tell will keep his memory alive for a very long time, I am sure. Take comfort in your family, your friends, &, of course, your music.

Terry was always a nice, considerate person like his older brother Ronald with both attending & graduating from the Bound Brook School System. So sad to read that his wonderfully full life has ended at only 74. Sincere condolences to his entire family for their loss from former classmates and graduates of BBHS '63.
