I met him as Earl, and then witnessed his transformation to Everlasting. To know him was to know his fun-loving spirit, his laughter, his smile with those huge dimples because he always gave that so freely. You will be missed by so many; I miss you already. My deepest Condolences to the Sanders family. The news was just tragic to hear. But my very first thoughts were gratitude for having known him, Its been many of years since I've seen him; but not enough to forget who he was. Just a genuine all around nice Guy. Did I mention charming as hell? One summer we had a rash of break in's and a serial rapist on the loose. I played Ball with friends daily in prospect and the village as we all did. Well walking home past dark became frightening especially because I had to walk so far from the courts to 6th avenue Neptune, Sanders made me promise to wait for him every night, that whole summer he showed up like clock work (he knew I ad a curfew) and he walked me home straight up Atkins avenue he would turn up 7th and say you should be good tap me on the arm and flash that smile.:) and he continue to go up to ridge and back towards 11th ave, where he lived. we used to laugh and cut up on each other doing the dozens on each others family (we had so much in common in that way). I used to look forward to those walks just so we could laugh and share those moments. I never forgot those days or moments; it was always my fondest memories of him and who he was. He did things he wanted to do not because he had too. Rest Easy Everlasting I have nothing but Love for you.<3 Always Landa...
