JACQUELIN B. EDDINS
AGE: 79 FORKED RIVER
Jacquelin B. Eddins, 79, of Forked River, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010. She was born in Newark and resided in New Brunswick before moving to Forked River in 1992. Jacquelin was a published author of science fiction and romance novels under the pen name Jac Eddins. She mentored aspiring writers from her writing workshop groups. She was an award-winning seamstress, a jewelry designer and a world traveler.
Jacquelin was predeceased by her son, Daniel. She is survived by her children, Joy Weisbecker of Forked River, Mary (George) Sculthorpe of FL, Jeanie (Daniel) Carver of VA, William (Michele) Eddins of NY, John (Patti) Eddins of Martinsville, Helen (Al) Fisk of NM, and
David Eddins of Piscataway; sister, Helen H. Huffman of Lakewood; 13 grandchildren, Robert and David Israel, Sarah Mundorff, George Jr. and Joseph Sculthorpe, Vladimir and Alexander Tonn, Samantha, Robert, Gene, and Kyla Eddins, Melissa and Jason Carver; and great-grandchildren, Jackie, Peter, Zachary, Jonathan, Nicholas, Katie, Jacob and Madeline.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at the Growney Funeral Home, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 7 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Ocean County Memorial Park at Waretown, 280 Wells Mills Road, Waretown.

My heart goes out to all of you - Jac was a wonderful neighborhood Mom and I have many fond childhood memories of Helen & I and all our sibs growing up in Piscataway. Jac was a very special lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoghts and prayers to the family.
Remember fondly all the good times we had in Piscatawy, N. J. when our children used to play together - while Jackie and I played cards, or visited.
Also remember the days when we both worked at Rickel's Home Office as we laughed alot during our breaks while she told our fortunes. She was a good friend. Jean ( Perrone ) Forlano -
