Thomas Tantillo Obituary
AGE: 89 • Toms River
Thomas C. Tantillo, 89 of Toms River passed away December 8, 2012 at the Shorrock Gardens, Brick. Born in New York City, he resided in New York and Bergenfield before moving to the Berkeley Section of Toms River in 1985. He was mailer for the New York Daily News before his retirement; a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Italian American Club at Berkeley.
Surviving are his wife Gisele (nee Cote) Tantillo, his son Thomas and his wife Julie, his daughter Linda Ackerman and her husband Scott. His brother Joseph, his grandchildren Jason, Nicholas and Tristan and his great grandchildren Marie and Anthony.
Visiting will be Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. Funeral services will be Thursday 10:00am at the funeral home, arrive at 9:30am. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. www.silvertonmemorial.com

My fondest memories of your Dad/Grandfather go back to birthday parties for Jason and Nicholas most often on your deck in New Windsor. Always so proud and happy to be with his family. A kind and gentle man, loving father and grandfather. No doubt he is very proud of you all and his love will continue to sustain you. My love to you all, Dottie
