Ronald Waskas Obituary
AGE: 68 • Old Bridge
Ronald A. Waskas, 68, of Old Bridge, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was born in Shenandoah, PA to the late Anthony Waskas and Victoria (Ayash) Waskas-Abalo. Ronald was a resident of Old Bridge for the past 40 years. He was well known for being a local real estate broker for 25 years. He was a life member of the Old Bridge First Aid Squad and served in various positions within the organization. He was also a vendor in the Englishtown Flea Market.
Ronald is predeceased by his brother George Waskas as well as his sisters Marquin Foose, Aurora Usalis and Jackie Sendatch. He leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his wife of 32 years Carolyn Waskas; daughters Robin Guzman, Sharon Schweizer, Cheryl Waskas and Renee Bailey and husband James; brothers Joe Waskas and wife Kay, Frank Abalo, Salvador Abalo and wife Carol and Manuel Abalo and wife Rebecca; grandchildren Ronny, David and Jaime Guzman, Jillian and Ryan Schweizer and Harlee, Cheyenne and Dakota Bailey as well as 23 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2-6 PM at the Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 CR 516, Old Bridge NJ 08857. A Funeral Ceremony will take place during the visiting period, at 5 PM. Disposition will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's name to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston MA 02241.
