I am so very saddened to learn of Allen's passing. I am an old friend from GHS. Allen, we all called him "A-dub", was in our wedding in 1973 and we visited him in Hainesville in 1977. In 1964 or 1965, A-dub, Miller Hogan, Jimmy Michaels, Jimmy's mother, Lucy, and I drove to Daytona Beach in Jimmy's 1957 turquouse Chevy. We were there for a week and had some great fun. We were caught "cutting donuts" on the beach in Jimmy's '57, and the cop took all of our money! We ate at the Howard Johnson's "all you can eat" buffet for $2.99!! I am so sorry that I lost touch with Allen these past several years, but his friendship and my memories of him are indelible. I will truly miss him. Our heartfelt thoughts and warmest prayers are with Allen's family - May God bless and keep you close during these days. Adios, A-dub, my old friend. Bucky and Jessica Anderson, Murrells Inlet, SC
