DOHERTY, Frances FRANCES DENNIS DOHERTY Frances Dennis Doherty died on December 23, 2010. She was a loyal and loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Frances was born on March 6, 1954 in Greenville, SC. She graduated from North Springs High School in Atlanta and went on to graduate as valedictorian from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. She received her MBA from Emory University and had a long and rewarding working career at BellSouth Corporation. She also enjoyed serving as a Director of Georgia's Own Credit Union for many years. Frances will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. Her beloved husband, Dennis Doherty, preceded her in death. She is survived by her parents, Wade and Mary Frances Dennis, her brother, Charles Dennis, her sister, Minna Elliott, and husband, Mike. She cherished her relationships with her niece Emily Elliott, her three nephews, Dennis Elliott, Frank Elliott and Kyle Dennis, her stepchildren Colin and Hollis Doherty, Colin's wife Cristina, her step grandchild Rowan Doherty, her brother-in-law, David Doherty and his family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 10:00 at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 805 Mount Vernon Hwy, NW, Atlanta, GA.
