May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I worked with Frances at Bellsouth and she was a great person to know and work with.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Dennis family. For seven years, your family lived directly behind us in Atlanta, and you seemed to always sit in front of us in church. The Dennis girls were so much taller than the Bennett girls, and (as mini skirts were all the rage in the 70's) my mom remembers holding her breath watching the Dennis girls avoid fashion disasters while bending, kneeling, sitting, etc. Those legs just went on and on! My mother re-told that memory just last week when we were visiting her in Iowa. The Dennis girls have been part of Bumpy's often repeated favorite memories for the past 40 years. Thought you might want to know.

I was saddened to hear about Frances. She was a great friend at Sewanee, and we had a lot of fun together. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis, Minna, Charlie, and all of her family members and friends. We have lost a good one far too soon, and I will miss her.
