a wonderful friend, he helped me, not only with tennis lessons, but with sincere kindness, appreciation of me as a person, humor, visits when I was feeling down ....he's always a joyful memory with his smiling face, and such a good looking man, wonderful manners, always remembering his father, helping me to remember my father, family members, a role model, real person....he has not passed away, he is always here, whenever I think of happenings in my life ....Thank you Lord, God

Peter was my tennis teacher, and cared for me through one of my difficult times. He crossed over social lines to help me, and gave me entrance to the Wilbledon tennis matches, and the U.S. Open. I was his attorney for a minor matter. I have missed his company and caring all my life, since the days he was tennis coach at my University, Tulane. I took many lessons from him at N.O. Country club, where I was not a member, but where he was proud to be with me on the courts there. We shared personal stories. He talked much about his wife, his parents,, his family members, in his usual beautiful way. My regret is that I lost touch with him in his later life. He became a model for me, to help people in the way he helped them.
RIP Peter, thank you, God bless you. RIP

Peter was a grand fellow who I remember with great affection as I was his Doubles partner at Junior tennis .
His sense of fun shone through and his determination marked him out as going to be someone special.
