I still miss you. You were the best vet, and I am having a hard time replacing you. I miss the friendship, too, and I hope your family is doing well in these trying times.

I don't know if you got my privous note. I've never tried this before. I just found out about Dr. Wiest from Diane Daily. I am sad and will miss him so much. He was the best vet ever and also a good friend. Your family will always have a special place in my heart.

I am so sorry to have missed the opportunity to honor Dr Wiest today at his service or last evening with his family. I just found out of his passing this afternoon. Dr Wiest was a renaissance man, a true jewel in today's fast paced world. Every time I wrote to him, he responded in kind. I will continue to cherish his words and expressions. My heart goes out to his family and friends, both two and four-legged. We have truly lost a beloved man who cherished life and shared himself with all he met. May you rest in Peace.
