Dr. W. Dwight Wiest

WIEST, Dr. W. Dwight Dr. W. Dwight Wiest, age 71, of Doraville, GA, passed away February 7, 2019. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, February 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dr. Wiest was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a Veterinarian, practicing at Chamblee Animal Hospital for nearly 50 years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and an excellent example and friend to all. He was an avid scholar and reader who loved history and was well learned in many subjects, a model train enthusiast, collector, and sketch artist. Dr. Wiest loved gardening, family history, the ocean and was a master sandcastle builder. Dr. Wiest is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Lee Wiest. He is survived by his daughter, Kristine Wiest Moore (Adam); son, William Wayne Wiest (Erica); grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Aidan, Kate, Emily, Logan, Natalie, and Taylor.
