I first met Bill in 1985 when he was working for Pardons and Paroles, and I worked for Corrections. Then I also got a job at Pardons and Paroles in 1992, so we worked closely together. I thought the world of Bill, his unique sense of humor, his political views which matched mine, his intelligence, his love of animals. I will miss Bill terribly...

Bill was a respected co-worker for 17 years and a loyal friend for 20. He was intelligent, kind, gentle and unassuming. Yet, he possessed an unshakable work ethic and a fierce passion for his political beliefs. And he captured it all with a dry, irreverent sense of humor. I will miss you, Bill.

Bill was my first cousin. I have fond memories of him visting our home and visting with his family over the years. He was a kind, considerate person whom I will miss greatly.

As a statistician with Corrections, I had occasion to deal often with Bill over the years, when he was with Parole and later when he worked in the "dungeon" with GTA's Unisys System Support. I'll always remember him as kind, sweet, enthusiastic, intelligent, helpful, and very funny. I was shocked at his untimely passing, and will always miss him.

Bill and I went to high school together, and reconnected about 18 months ago. The correspondence was terrific, and frequent. He had a droll sense of humor, was politically one of the most astute observers I know, and wrote beautifully. My heartfelt condolences to his friends and family.

Ben and Family,

Our family will miss Bill greatly. He was so special to us and after high school came back into our lives and has spent the last 16-17 years with us at Christmas...we always had a special bond as we had birthdays 3 days apart and tried to out-do each other on cards..

I will truly miss "My Friend".

I worked with Bill for three years at GTA and I have never met a person with more love in his/her heart than the love Bill had for all his co-workers. It was heart-breaking when I heard that he passed. My prayers go out to Bill and his family in this time of need. Rest in Peace my friend.

I worked with Bill at GTA. We became friends while he worked at P&P, and then later at GTA. While breaking bread over the years, we talked politics, GA Tech / GA, along with various other subjects.

Bill was truly a kind person and had the kind of heart that we all need. My condolences to the family during this time of loss.

Will miss Bill.

It is with great surprise and regret to hear of Bill's death. I temporarily worked with Bill about 7 months as a contractor at GTA. He was a great help to me as I learned the GTA way of doing things. I'll remember our times we spent at lunch. My condolences to the family. May you be comforted with peace and hope in this difficult time.
