Dr Weisman was such a huge part in my Family as he started treating my Dad in the 70's when he was the physician for Lockheed, my Dad Lonnie B Allen was cared for while his office was in Woodstock, Marietta, and Atlanta. Pops suffered from Heart Disease and died 7/20/2014 at 83. For almost 40 years Dr Weisman took care of Pops. In 2006 we sought out Dr Weisman because for whatever reason Pops was no longer under Weisman care, Pops had aneurysms and we went to see the Dr in Atlanta and when they saw each other I believe we all had tears in our eyes. Weisman shook my Dads hand and said he was happy to see him. He could not assist with the aneurysm, but said that he was in very good hands with Dr Zarge, who did the surgery and he gave my Dad about 8 more years. I am sorry to learn that Dr Weisman passed. I will say that I am so grateful for the care that he provided to my Dad I believe that Dr Weisman allowed me to know my Dad for the 42 years that I would most likely not have had without Dr Weisman. I imagine that is probably true all across the Country. He touched and had a positive effect on mine and many more lives. His time on this earth was the greatest gift anyone could have given to me as Pops daughter. I Thank You Sir for the care you gave to my Dad !!! God Bless !!! Pamela Allen Battersby

Though Evan was a second cousin to my father, I didn't meet him until I was in my 30s. Still, he and Nancy welcomed me into their home and their family with warmth and love. I was so happy to know them as well as Belle and Joe and to gain a whole new wonderful family. We stayed in touch for the next 30 years and I loved meeting in New York or Georgia or corresponding by good old-fashioned mail. I miss Evan very much and send my love to the family. Cousin Laurie

I just found out and I'm so very saddened. I was so glad to get to know you both--having had no connections with the Weisman side of my family growing up. First I met Joe and Belle at Elizabeth Scheier's Bat Mitzvah and was so thrilled to meet my great-grandfather's brother. Then when I visited Atlanta, they brought me to meet Evan and Nancy and I felt an immediate connection. I'm so sorry I didn't reach out to you sooner. I didn't know.
Love to you, Nancy. Laurie Weisman

Evan was a most delightful student and participant in my Shakespeare classes at Olli @Emory. We shared laughs and smiles and it was my pleasure to listen to him read aloud in class. I also saw him perform at the Dunwoody theatre, and he came to listen to our band play folk songs at the Sandy Springs Farmers' Market. I just found out today about his passing, and it's just a real shonda. He was a gentleman and a scholar who brightened the days of all who knew him. My most sincere sympathies to his family and friends.

We are so saddened to hear of Evan's passing. He was a gentle guy full of grace, wit and life. I'm thankful to have been paired with Evan for an unforgettable 3-set tennis tiebreaker which he led us to a comeback victory!
Your family will be in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Nancy:
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Evan. I met him when I was his administrator at CDS. He was a wonderful, kind and loving person. I enjoy playing tennis with him, his great sense of humor and his stand-up comedy. He will be greatly missed but so many of us have such fond memories

In had the fortune to meet Evan several times. One time was when his extraordinary daughter Jamie invited a great speaker who gave a highly educational talk on comparative healthcare. There was no doubt that father and daughter share a passion around this topic and others that deal with medicine and how it can be made accessible to everyone. We other time we shared a wonderful dinner with him, his wife, and Jamie's husband and daughters, and his passion about theater came to light talking to my husband Vincent, who is a great theater professional.
My sincere sympathy to The Weisman Family.

Dear Nancy,
Linda and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to you and the family. Although we lived in different cities, Evan was a towering figure for me during my childhood as he represented the senior tier of cousins. Time has passed but not the memories. May you be spared further sorrow.

Singing with Evan at The Temple and performing with this so talented presence onstage was always one of life's pleasures that I shall cherish, like Evan, forever. His spirit about living and the manner in which he embraced life is a lesson to us all.

Dear Nancy and Family,
Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Evan.
Words cannot express the person he is and always will be!
He took each moment, understanding the fullness of it...
and added levity to it. He was the dearest, deepest, most lasting, and enduring friend, for a lifetime.
Though he has left and is now in perfect peace...
his spirit and the fullness of it, will Always go with us.
   My Sincerest condolences,
     Judi, and family
