We were saddened to hear of Gordon's passing. He lived a wonderful life and loved his family so much. He was a very kind and gentle man. We are so fortunate to have known him. We have such great memories. Our hearts and prayers go out to Billie and the rest of the Davis family during this difficult time. Remember all the great times you had with him, what memories you have.

The Anderson family wishes to express our sincere condolences to Billie and the rest of the family. It has been our privilege to have known Gordon and Billie for 50 plus years. We will always have fond memories of our friendship and vacations at Nippersink Lodge in Mentone and various other trips taken together. Gordon will be remembered as an outstanding intellect, great husband, father and grandfather, kind man, and a true friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Love,
Your friends Sue and Bill Anderson

It is a great testimony to the character of someone like Gordon that he should be such a wonderful father to his three sons and grandfather to his grandchildren, but also have taken the time to be a father to other people's children too. I am grateful that he tutored me in Geometry all those years ago. I loved that he sometimes found in me an acceptable co-fisherman. I am so lucky that our families met on Walthall Court all those years ago.

I was truly fortunate to know Gordon when I was young and develop a trusting relationship with him that lasted many decades. I benefited from each and every meeting with him. However, perhaps the most important thing I learned from Gordon was to be a professional and be a gentlemen: two attributes that he always evidenced. I also learned that you can do your business and still have time for your wife. Gordon's wife, Billy, was frequently with him and is also a testament to the fine people involved in his profession. I will never be as good as Gordon but I will always remember him as a model of what you should be in all areas.
May God bless Gordon and may God continue to support Billy.
